"The wound is the place
where the light enters you."
Are you experiencing any combination of the following?
You may have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Trauma is any event or series of events that are emotionally disturbing and disrupt one's normal feelings of well-being. If a disturbing event continues to cause difficulties for a person emotionally, socially or physically, help is needed.
If you have struggled with these difficulties, treatment can help. Supportive therapy, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), in particular is an effective way to work through and resolve past traumas. Careful assessment and planning are implemented with each step and resources and strengths are emphasized.
